The artistic universe of Fin DAC is inhabited by graceful female figures ā pan-Asian, black and Latin ā always masked and dressed in traditional clothing. These garments signify the womenās heritage and individual personalities and stand in direct opposition to the overriding female stereotypes found in advertising. In this light, the women painted by Fin DAC should be seen as a rejection of commercial monotony; free of constrictions, their appeal lies in their diversity. This particular girl is wearing a āhanfuā, a traditional Chinese clothing style dating back to the Han dynasty period.
