Mr. Maestro is a muralist who uses rollers and spray paint to create iconic urban landscapes. He started writing graffiti in the late 90s, from which he moved on to portraits and scenes based on self-taken photos and AI-generated images. Born in Poland, he now lives in the Netherlands.

“My work for STRAAT is based on a photo taken on Trekvlietplein in The Hague, using white and black, applied with sponge rollers. For my work, I choose shots of non-obvious places in the city - probably not suitable for an advertising poster. I often strive to achieve maximum contrast and simplify the image, which should give the impression of a drawing or illustration on paper.” / Mr. Maestro
