Royyal Dog is well known for his portrayals of black women, which he sees as a fundamental element of his ongoing tribute to black culture, including its hip hop music. During a trip through the USA, he began adding the traditional Korean dress known as ‘hanbok’ to his iconic black women, as a bold reference to his own cultural background.
