Joram’s signature style is the juxtaposition of various images, intended to encourage contemplation in the viewer. In Anatomical study, a skull is cut up, rearranged and remixed to acquire a contemporary meaning. Although this skeletal structure has been used endlessly throughout art history, in Joram’s reexamination it turns into a metaphor for what the current generation of urban artists is doing to art history itself.
