A dream, the key to something deeper

Troubled by a repeated nightmare throughout his childhood, where he found himself lost in the desert, this scene eventually inspired Skount to start painting as a journey into his inner universe.

“I was in a huge desert, there was a lady with a parasol always covering her gaze. There was also a hole in the ground, next to a big hand coming out from the sand. I eventually found out that this hand actually exists, in the Atacama desert in Chile.” / Skount
