artist at work: Bill Blast

From 7 to 9 April, legendary New York graffiti pioneer Bill Blast aka Wise (William Cordero) will be working at STRAAT on a new piece to mark the opening of the exhibition the ESSENCE.

Bill Blast played an important role in the early development of graffiti in New York. His iconic works from the early 1980s, including those created at the handball court of Rock Steady Park, inspired a generation of graffiti writers in Europe.
