From Saturday, June 27 through Tuesday, June 30, Bianca will be creating new work at STRAAT Museum. On Sunday, June 28, visitors can join a meet the artist session at 1 PM and 2:30 PM. This is an opportunity to ask Bianca questions about her work, inspiration, and creative process.

Reflection by Clarice Gargard

Alongside Bianca Nemelc’s new artwork, starting from July 1, STRAAT presents an audio reflection by journalist, documentary filmmaker, and writer Clarice Gargard. Drawing on themes of nature, ancestry, inheritance, and identity, she shares her perspective on the artwork and the stories it brings together.

In 2025, Gargard published Na verzet komt (r)evolutie (After resistance comes (r)evolution): Ten Paths Toward a New World, a book that invites readers to spark both a personal and societal (r)evolution.
